MEA Poem by Lola_BeeWell i felt like having fun and telling it like it is
This
is me, in South Africa I’m called a born free Lions
do not roam the streets and you won’t find monkeys in a tree We
don’t live in villages and dance around half naked Although
when people get drunk they do reveal parts that should be sacred J
Cape
Town is beautiful with it sandy white beaches and table mountain as its
backdrop I
live in the cosmopolitan hub and I’m a city girl that loves rock
People
have many stories of this place and yes most of them are real Crime
is rife and its scary but we all deal Our
government is corrupt and oh man can they steal
My
mother is Malay and my father is of German descent I
can imagine you think I have a funny accent I’m
tall, tanned skin with long dark hair I’m
quirky, very random and love it when people stare Because
not one south African feature I bare
I’m
classified as an African but hell I’ve
never seen a rhino or a giraffe I
bet you find that funny and I’ve just ,made you laugh, But
if I could choose to live anywhere in this world I’d choose South Africa, I mean look at this poem damn South Africa my muse © 2014 Lola_BeeReviews
