Crazy summer days are here

I light that ciggie without a single fear

Fatigue of the bustling city grows old

Out of my cocoon I unfold

 

I am ok

I am all I can be

Summer sets all souls free

 

My long dark hair glistening in the ocean breeze

Already caramel skin tanned golden brown

Trade in business attire with ease

Denim short and swimming costume beneath

Letting my hair down, Oh what a relief

 

Whimsical and light, as if the burden of life has been lifted

If only for a season, time has reformed and shifted

Everything seems brighter, colourful and care free

We don’t have to dance the night away, we just have to be

 

We are ok

We are all we can be

it's interesting how different seasons affect us...
and summer always brightens the mood...
personally, I like autumn best...I like the crisp cool blue and the changing of the leaves...it makes me come alive...

but seasons do often change our moods...don't they?

seasons in the mind do that too...we let our hair down, throw off the heavy clothes of thought...and run through the fields naked and breathing again.

absolutely! seasons can change one mood so quickly, I'm actually a winter fan, i love dark cold stormy weather, it makes me feel dreamy and homey. but its nearly summer here so i go with the flow :-)
