Goodnight

Goodnight

A Poem by Loganium

The waltzing lights

dance their way between the hills

the gentle winds

whisper words of love in your ears

The creek gurgles

cool water carresing your toes

while the stone you sit on

keeps you nice and warm

your hand is in mine

and mine in yours.

and I tell you this,

none of it takes my breath away like you

Not the sweet rustling of the trees

but the soft sound of your breathing

not the embers of the setting sun

but the warmth of your eyes

you're like an angel sitting there

lost in the sights and sounds of an ending day

the lights playing across your face

like a stained glass window

Love lives here

in the trees, and the sun

the creek, and the hills

and in you and me
