Fangs

Fangs

A Poem by LoganG
"

Something I quickly penned today. I often write from the soul not knowing where it comes from until later.

"
A day is a battle,
The nights are so cold..
Let me tell you a story untold.
A warrior, the crusader, the big diamond dream,
The glimmer of hope, a manufactured machine.
A product, I'll become. Packaged and delivered.
A snake in the grass, too tired to slither.
A phoenix should fly, instead turns to ashes..
Forcing the ridicule and filthy backlashes.
Serpent, once tired, begins to move..
A toxic fang brings deathly doom.
To rise higher than a god,
shine brighter than the moon..
No time to slow down.
It all starts soon.

Interesting work... Just keep expanding your mind and let it flow. Don't try to make it fit into a neat package.
I challenge you to try something; and I think you may be surprised at yourself. Look at what you wrote in the "About" area just to the right of this review. Turn that into a poem. (In many ways it reads like one now.) Give it a shot... and like I said, don't try and make it fit. Just let it flow... from your soul to paper.

I feel it necessary to point out that what I write is generally just straight from the brain and onto paper. I like to write in the moment and take the essence of my inner core and shape into exactly .. more..
