Still

Still

A Poem by L.F. Royal

Run with me

Down wooden planked paths to

The sea

Men wage war from their seats

While others

Pave the world like streets

Still, there are

Our wooden planked paths to

The sea

oh yes! the sea is always a respite in times of political uprising, turmoil and war - a means of escape and a sense of peace and purpose on the shores. Lovely.
