Just a Drop

Just a Drop

A Poem by Everchanging Disaster
"

I think this is what some people do.

"

New drapes, fresh paint, gorgeous table.
Elegant light fixture.
My therapist says I am dying to be happy.
I would go with "buying to be happy."
I refill my Xanax at the drug store.
I stop on the way home and buy a new refrigerator.
The kitchen looks beautiful.
But I'm still me.
Just me, and no amount of paint will change that.
