Farewell

Farewell

A Poem by Zion

Farewell!
That's what I heard so long ago..

That's when my fields of gold faded.

The fields rusted beneath my feet.

Heaven knows,

Everything I knew went up in smoke.
Promised myself something that day.
To wait till the day where everything turned golden again.

Nothing was the same.

A loner I was.
Don't worry it wasn't your fault!

Everything happens for a reason!

One day I hope,

We will see each other again!

Through the pain and happiness,

I will wait here.
