Delightful SadnessA Poem by Cy!
Ah. Balloons,
What a delight. Floating, bouncing, playing in the air "Hold them tight," Mother says "Don't lose them." Ah. Balloons, What a burden. Couldn't they stay, always to be beside me? My hands are tired, palms are sweaty. I drop my things, gather them again. Oh, but where are the balloons? I see them, in the air scattering away. A burden lifted. How sad to lose such a delight.
