Herself Myself

Herself Myself

A Poem by Locke
"

a poem I wrote when I was in a very bad mood

"

What is that I see?
Looking back at me
Dark hair dark eyes
Chest heaving as she cries

Tears turn to laughter
As turns on her lighter
To burn a book
A dairy completes the look

Two girls approached
The silence was broke
With a word like emo
It completely broke her ego

The sobs were muffled
When I went up to her befuddled
Three words I say
Are you okay?

She replied with tears
But I never did sneer
As this girl told me her story
About a girl named Tory

12 years old
She was funny and bold
Never though about death
Until came Seth

He was 14 and emo
With a look that said pyro
With his music blasting
Sent her life crashing

He killed the girl
And with a whirl
Came a punk
Who called herself Dunk

Took her money
But called her honey
Till just today
When he needed pay

She’s looking in the puddle
Completely confuddled
Till she realized herself
Was really myself
