Lost MemoryA Poem by LobeliaThis poem was written in the year 2013 which I submitted for the English Department Annual Magazine in my college. It talks about a memory which is very important yet now is a blurry image image...
The gentle blowing of the breeze,
The quiet whisper of the rustling leaves, Remember the arrival of summer, How we were there for one another? Now though,I'm all alone, Beside the river skimming stones. The past is now a memory, No longer a state of clarity. This very place beside the river, Is now my greatest treasure. I hope by being here, These floating memories will become clear. The sun now finally sets, And I regret, My greatest fault:I did not see, That I would lose this memory. © 2014 LobeliaReviews
