Dream control group one - scraped.A Poem by Hannah MorganUp until recently I was with my ex-partner for nearly two years and he asked me to move my life to be with him in Bristol. Fours months in, he gave up and threw me out. This my response to him.(A rap style/ possible song poem) V1) Once you had me in your arms. Snap. How was I supposed to know it was a, trap! Always touching, teasing and pleasing. Then you started throwing crap. From every angle, this! That! Personal deflection. Emotional misdirection. All because you can’t bare your own reflection. My eyes were truly blind, Especially when you said ‘this womb is mine.’
V2) Answers needed to be known. ‘Our love died because you wouldn’t go!’ Don’t give me that, you simply didn’t know. Who you were, Who you are, Only what you think you should be. Don’t you dare blame me, it was you who walked away from me. So please don’t come crying to me when you miss our little family.
V3) This love used to feel like a pure, burst. How was I supposed to know it would nearly put me in a, Hurst! Now the memories are a curse, And what makes it worse. With your final goodbye, In the same breath, you said ‘ you would love me until you die.’
