2A Chapter by LizzyLin“Gwen, Gwen it is time to get up!” my little sister was standing next to me. I opened my eyes and I was excited to be in my own room again. Everything looked like I left it last night. “Oh it feels like I sleep for ever. You will never believe what I dreamed of.” So I started telling her the story I just experienced. She was fascinated. When I ended my sister was sitting in front of me mouth opened, then I spotted the alarm clock sitting on my desk she showed 7.02am my school is supposed to start in 23 minutes and it takes me ten minutes to drive over there. So another morning where I had no time to eat breakfast. Everything seemed normal again today even if I could not stop thinking about the dream of last night. But my life was supposed to get a lot crazier, during third period I got called down to the office. I don’t mind it don’t get me wrong, I mean who likes to be in PE when you are supposed to do laps the entire period. The moment I walked in to the main office my jaw dropped. There she was sitting. Last night I saw the world though those green eyes and today I look into them. How did she come here ? How was I able to dream or see her life before we even met? When I was her everyone treated me with respect and like Lola was a tough person but how she is sitting there in that chair, she looked broken and hurt. “Hey, I am Gwen!” I offered her my hand , she took it and shook it gratefully. “Lola” she said shy. This can’t be a coincidence, I was 100% sure that she was the girl i dreamed of last night. But how is this possible. “We thought you could show her around, because after we let her schedule run through our system we saw that you have all classes together.” The administrator said smiling at me. “Sure is it okay when I show her the building for now? It is not worth it to go back to gym now!” “Sure, Honey go ahead.” It was very awkward to walk these familiar hallways with someone you seem to know but you never really have met. We just walked out of the science hallway and the silence was killing me. “So where are you from?” I asked her just to break out of this discomforting situation. “L.A.” she answered short. Slowly I was getting very concerned, why did last night happened? Why did this happened to me? “ So why did you end up here?” I was curious because it was the middle of senior year and when I saw her in my dream this august she seemed so happy, so together. She seemed like no one could harm her but when you saw her now she looked so insecure and scared. “My mom, she decided to make a change in our life so she packed everything in boxes and we moved out here, also does her boyfriend live out here.” I wanted to believe her but somehow she seemed like she was hide something. “Oh and this is our lunch room, and we can stay right here because it is now lunchtime anyway. Did you bring lunch or do you want to buy something?” we just sat down at the spot where me and my friends usually sit and Lola looked around compared to her high school mine was very small. “ Oh I brought my own I did not know what to expect.” She smiled when she got her salet out. “ Wise decision. The food you can buy is not the best.” The bell rang and most of the students got up to leave we just stayed. At the second bell my friends where with me and the were totally into Lola, which is of course not a big deal because most of them have never been farther away then Gainesville and that is literally 12 Miles away from our place. Somehow the rest of the day flew by without any major event. I glanced over to the clock sitting on my nightstand 10.30pm usually time to sleep but my teachers at Callisburg High School swamped me with homework which is all due tomorrow also I could not stop thinking about Lola and the situation I am in now. Will it happen again if i fall asleep right now, I was scared. I finished my history assignment and just thought I would do math in the morning or during lunch the next day then I snuggled in to my warm blanket. © 2014 LizzyLin |
