"Her"

"Her"

A Poem by Elizabeth Landis
"

What I want him to think.

"
Your voice is burned into my soul.

Your eyes appear in every image I paint
.

My perspective on everything worth reason is changed.

Forever I will search the crowd for you;

maybe one day I will get the courage to say hi.

But for now your being doesn't know me yet.

I like the concept of this, especially the twist in the end. It's different and interesting. Enjoyed reading your poem :)
