Distant family

"
Through the front door you get charming greetings.
But once you step inside you feel it;
the horrific darkness and secrets hidden behind soft smiles.
Sometimes I wonder how anything alive can be within those walls.
I'd like to think that not all the times were bad considering the father
they gave me.
