Material Escape.

A Poem by Mercury Mirrors

Since I lost my will to be alive.
I spend constantly to survive.
The more I buy the less I feel.
I’ve sold myself, now nothing’s real.

I drive a Lemans with speakers in the trunk.
The whole thing’s loaded with brand new junk.
But the reason I push the volume to it’s max.
Is to drown out the past and cover my tracks.
