*Falling Out Of Love.

*Falling Out Of Love.

A Poem by Mercury Mirrors

Spending less & less time.
less and less attention.
You're falling out of love.
Was this your intention?

I'm always working late.
And your always asleep.
We're standing on a knife.
You seem to want to leap.

Falling out of love
Is just like skydiving.
But without the parachute.
No chance of surviving.

The fall is so long.
It seems to last for hours.
The impact's crushing.
We're wilting like old flowers.

Oh God we're finished now.

We've realized way too late.

That there's no saving us.

We've been cheated by Fate.
