In this dark basement dwells the saddest of souls.
A mass of twisted limbs, & eyes as two black holes.
Blood caked & coated, still flowing from old scars.
Bullet wounds scattered ‘cross white skin like stars.
Huddled in a ball, facing the wall, it shudders & quakes.
Spikes protrude from it, it’s organs are pierced by stakes.
This creature is me, left here to die by those I trusted.
He left me here so he could have the one he lusted.
Can you see what he did to me? Look at these bloody hands.
Look on the shriveled skin in patches from white-hot brands.
Can you help me? Will you let me have my sweet revenge?
Surely crimes this heinous & cruel cannot go unavenged.
So unbind these chains that have grown into my skin.
Let me wash away this filth & grime in a blood-bath of Sin.

Wow...Your rhymes & rhythm flowed so beautifully in a dark, morbid sort of way. It shows how being on the other side of betrayal feels and how much it hurts.
`Twas a great read.

This is a very interesting piece. I love the darkness of it. I felt bad for the character; tortured and left to be a creature of his or her own demise. Clawing and scratching at your flesh to escape the darkness painted by the keeper of the key. I loved this piece because it churned my imagination to the left a bit.

Nice write.
