"

"

Just as fast as he comes into my life, there he goes again.
No telling if he plans to return, never a clue as to when.
When he leaves the cold seeps back into my soul.
But the memories he left me with shine bright in this black hole.

He’s gone again to the back of my mind.
I’m glad I was with him even for the briefest time.
Well at least he still visits once in a very great while.
Sauntering into my dreams while I sleep with a smile.

Every time he comes & goes he leaves me with his memory.
I can still feel his touch, it shoots heat through me.
He's like a ghost, & now I’m thinking perhaps I dreamed it all.
I stare at the phone, it refuses to ring, waiting for another fateful call.

Loving the mysteriousness of this love who touched you so.
"Well at least he still visits once in a very great while.
Sauntering into my dreams while I sleep with a smile. " -- very nice lines :)

I feel the meter could be tinkered a bit to make it flow a tad better.
such as in the last line of first stanza.. seems a bit long.

and the last stanza reads kinda awkward too
Perhaps it could read :

Every time he comes and goes he leaves me with memory.
To haunt me with his touch with the heat it shoots through me.
He's like a ghost, and now I'm thinking perhaps I dreamed it all.
I stare at the phone, it refuses to ring, waiting for another fateful call.

IDK .. other than that .. good stuff. Makes me think of the song "dont fear the reaper"

Well written. Emotions flow in this peace. I liked it.
