GREIF.

GREIF.

A Poem by Mercury Mirrors
"

Venting bout that b*****d whos name starts with a D...I wont say it.

"

So looks like you’ve thrown me into the ranks of fucked up teens.
With broken hearts, swollen eyes they ignore by unconventional means.
Drugs, pills, anything to bring back the will to live, the hopes of yesterday.
Wandering lost, no heart to call home, just trying to get by, to find a way.

But what happens when your hope died and you just can’t revive it.
When the water rises above your head, and you know you won’t survive it.
No resuscitation for that love its been swept away by the flood.
All the tears you’ve shed you wish he’d repay with an ocean of blood.

But he won’t he’s just as happy, he doesn’t need you he’s got what he wants.
While you rock in corners, crying yourself to sleep, your hollow face gaunt.
So you’re the bum on the corner & he’s the one that spits on you now.
You’re the sad soul in the bar gone through 10 shots & wondering how.
