I'm adding more details & structure. If you don't know who Richard is [Im changing the name later bc I'm using my rl boyfriend for this character, just like Beth is me, Elizabeth, & Donald is Hartley, because his name is Donald Hartley. XD But any

“Beth get away from that! BETH!” Hartley screamed my name over & over, louder until his deep voice was hoarse, but I couldn’t hear anything but my pounding heart as I sprinted down the dark hallway, steel-toed boots thunking all the way. “Richie...!” I gasped, my lungs burning & my heavy gun slapping my back with every step. “Richie! Come back!” I yelled as I came to a stop in an abandoned classroom.

I spun wildly around; my eyes darting from an overturned trash can to an open window & a retreating shadow. “Ugh...” I slumped onto a dusty desk in defeat. A heavy sigh blew the dust in front of me into a miniature whirlwind that faded & fell as quickly as it had been created. I closed my eyes for a second & propped my head up on my elbows, rubbing my temples. One of them was sticky with drying blood. I stared at it, angry at it for some reason, when something made me stop. At first I thought the cold, musty wind on my neck was from the open window & a slight breeze, but when I started smelling fetid meat, & heard a hissing in my ear, I froze, my eyes perfect circles bugging from my head like in the cartoons. Tears of pure fear slipped down my cheeks along with salty beads of sweat as I forced my eyes to turn to the side, then my head to swivel around to look behind me.

Crouched up on the desk, looking like a panther about to pounce, was my boyfriend...or what once was him. I couldn’t see any trace of the man I knew in the bloodshot, cloudy eyes that narrowed at me, watching with ravenous hunger burning in them like evil fire. “Richard? It’s me...” I was trembling, but determined not to let this creature see my fear, even though it probably wouldn’t matter to him what his ‘food’ felt at the moment. Slowly, oh so slowly, I inched the gun from the strap over my shoulder & aimed it.

“Richie. Don’t even think about it. I’ll shoot you, damnit!” He shrieked, hid mouth stretching wider than I would have thought a normal person’s could, & it was an unearthly sound, like metal on sandpaper. Leaping to the next desk, he got his balance then lunged at me, knocking the heavy gun from my hands. I screamed louder than I ever had as his teeth sank into my wrist with a crunch!, snapping it clean. I couldn’t see. I was blinded by tears of pain, remorse, & a small, silly part of me that wondered how my Richie could do this. The blood pounded in my ears, so that I couldn’t hear the animalistic grunts of the thing on top of me, ripping me to pieces...I couldn’t even feel it. Just a slight sting. As the edges of my vision closed in on me, I heard shouting, & gunshots. Then all was darkness...

Okay, for lack of time, (and most of all for the sake of nostalgia for my angsty and self-absorbed teenage years), I have ripped one of those ancient myspace surveys from the forgotten planes of the i.. more..
