Couple Fights

Couple Fights

A Poem by Mercury Mirrors
"

:] Me & Richie & Don fight a LOT...This is every day for me...

"

Baby, you know I hate fighting with you.
All the yelling is just something we’re used to.
But I wish it didn’t have to be that way, that way.
And I wish that we could last just one single day,
Without a harsh word or an insult being flung,
And none of those screechy, cussing songs being sung.
No lamps being shattered against a wall.
No ‘b***h’s & ‘w***e’s being thrown around & called.
Just you with me wrapped up warm in your arms,
Not a care in the world & no thoughts of causing harm.
But it can’t ever seem to stay that way, that way.
We’ll just continue calling each other “FAT!” “Ugly!”
