Fix My HeartA Poem by Mercury MirrorsThis is for you Richie. I'm trying to fix your heart :]
Fix my broken, bleeding little heart.
Glue it so it never comes apart.
Find every sore & put a Band-Aid there
Place healing kisses everywhere.
Hold it in your arms like a precious doll.
Keep it off the ground, don’t let it ever fall.
Erase the bruises, cross out the gashes,
Heal all the cuts, the burns & the slashes.
Fix my heart, you better fix it well
Because it’s been baking in the fires of Hell.
Frozen in the coldest ice for so long
It’s been weakened by hate, it’s no longer strong.
Can you repair the damage done?
Can you make me feel like I’m someone? Can you catch me as I come screaming down?
Can you rescue me before I drown? © 2008 Mercury MirrorsReviews
