AnnaMarie

AnnaMarie

A Poem by Mercury Mirrors
"

Just fiddling during a 5 hour car ride from Atlanta to Florida. :] this is the product of my boredom & motion sickness. XD Enjoy.

"

Supple, moist ebony lips,
Full, curvaceous, perfect hips.
Sharp crimson nails,
That Caress soft skin pale.
The neck of her worn black dress
Shows off her ample chest.
And a frayed red ribbon holds,
Black hair that falls in liquid folds.
Tiny feet make not a Sound,
As AnnaMarie glides across the ground.
She was the beauty of her city,
She stood out as more than just pretty.
Her homely sister, in a bout of jealousy,
Ended the life of Anamarie.
Restless, confused, and craving revenge,
AnnaMarie's lost soul

wanders without end.

This is pretty dark and well written. Reminds me of a song by Loreena McKennit off of her "The Mirror and the Mask" album. Can't remember the song title though. Good work.

Cool. Mildly dark, and mildly attractive. You describe her/you in detail then kill off the main character. Very good, I apploud.
