My Water

My Water

A Poem by Mercury Mirrors
"

This is about my love for water. It's got some kind of pull for me, even though it makes the scars on my fingers swell uup & look something terrible. It actualy IS my friend =/. Enjoy.

"

 Water seeps into my skin,

It soothes me from deep within,

It is my life & my friend,

That I carry with me to the bitter end.

Water flows through my veins,

Little crystal clear strains,
Of happiness, anger, joy, & despair.
There’s even drops of it in my hair.

It caresses me softly, holds me tight,

In the middle of the day, or the dark of night.

Standing by the ocean, my home.

With it by my side I can’t feel alone.

My heart is like a hollow seashell,

If you put it to your ear you can hear the waves swell.

It's the very thing keeping me alive.

With it in my life I can never die.

water is life and with out it there is no life.all living things need what you wrote about.u have a way of bringing the simples thing to the front as the most complex
