Acid

Acid

A Poem by Mercury Mirrors
"

My second unrhymed poem. No meanness plz I just started dipping into a new form.

"

You're eating away at me.
Your touch is of acid.
Your lips drip with poison,
That flows in your veins.

You slowly devour me,
Take away my free will,
Because all I can ever do,
Is lie here with you.

I should be happy,
I'm here in your arms.
But inside I'm dying,
A slow painful death.

Keep me here if you will,
But know this to be true,
This isn't my choice.
This is forced affection.
