Goodbye Richie

Goodbye Richie

A Poem by Mercury Mirrors
"

Just me venting b/c Richie messed me up even more after i came to him when Don messed me up...it seems no matter who i turn to their all the same, but with a different face & a different name...>< councedental rhyming everyone. Enjoy.

"

I put so everything into this.

I tried so hard to keep you.

But in the end it wasn't enough.

What did I say? What did I do?

Was it because I'm far away?

We were less than a month away,

From sunshine, the beach, & a happy ending,

But you couldn't even wait.

Had to get your fill elsewhere,

Had to go behind my back.

If this goes any farther I might just leave,

& I can guarentee I won't come back.

If you really love me,

Then prove it to me now.

If you can't then that's just fine,

Exit stage left after taking a bow.

Let's give a round of applause,

To an unloyal man.

Best pack your things now,

& get out while you can.

Nicely done. I thought it flowed pretty well.
