My WanderingA Poem by Mercury MirrorsRichie's stopped answering me yesterday & now in the middle of a convo he did again & he hasn't answered for over an hour...he was the only lifesaver I had in an ocean of depression & now he's gone & the sharks & storms are coming....iI can’t see as I stumble onward.
Blinded by tears of betrayal & fear.
Where did you go? Why did you leave?
Just seconds ago you were here.
Now you’ve left me in this abyss,
& I have to find my way home again alone.
Like a little girl on a dark street at night,
Fear is what pushes me on.
You promised me you’d be there.
Does this sudden absence make you a liar?
If you loved me you wouldn’t go, & leave me here in the fire.
What are you doing while I’m searching?
Are you having fun with another woman?
As I walk in circles that circle my circles,
Do you feel more like a man?
Years later, I’ll still be wandering,
No longer able to walk. I’ll crawl.
And you’ll be alone & wishing you hadn’t,
Left me all alone to fall.
