Love Monster

Love Monster

A Poem by Mercury Mirrors
"

This is a little piece I did out of boredom/ I was feeling cold & this is what came of it. Nothing special, just simple but clean.

"

You can't have love without the pain.

You can't have a storm without the rain.

You can't have me without my flaws.

I'm like a country without laws.

I'm chaotic.

Horrific.

Just a little masochistic.

Desire's a poison in your dirty veins.

Your efforts to claim me are forever in vain.

Stand stock still & stare in awe.

Looking like a soldier for a lost cause.

But I won't take you.

I might even break you.

I can only feel the cold.

Young on the outside, inside old.

Mercury Mirrors
I think it's unfinished but I couldn't think of anything else to add so I just decided to stop while I'm ahead.
