Deal With The Devil

Deal With The Devil

A Poem by Mercury Mirrors
"

This is based on the plot of the movie Silent Hill. My FAVE! You may notice the similarities. But, mostly It;s my idea. It has the devil in it...YAY! *hugs* sorry religious people i don't have one...I just do w/e & I figure If I don't hurt anyone...th

"

Rain of blood.

Oceans of guts.

Swelling starts to bud,

Around infected cuts.

Injected morphine to ease your passing.

It won't help you won't be lasting,

Through this crimson night.

No God to help you in your plight.

The curtain falls upon the Earth tonight.

Strapped down to a stretcher,

With an IV in your vein.

Will you writhe & scream?

Or silently accept the pain.

Roll you to a room,

Smells of mold & formaldehyde.

In the stinking gloom,

You plot & wait. You bide your time.

In the shadows at the foot of your bed,

Stands a man with eyes glowing red.

He says, "It's them who made you this way,

So isn't it time that THEY all paid?"

A smile cracks your blistered lips.

The Sun is hidden behind an eclipse.

As you reach forward to grasp his hand,

Darkness consumes & covers the land.

People screaming, everyone's dying.

Somewhere in the chaos, a child is crying.

Monsters spring forth from cracks in the ground,

In their own blood, the masses drown.

At the hospital window where you stand,

Side-By-Side with the red-eyed man.

he says "Now that the end of this world is nigh,

Tis time for you, my friend, to die."

Out of his robe, he draws a dagger.

Backward & over the bed you stagger.

As the blade seeps cold into your skin,

The devil cracks a smile & whispers, "I WIN."

Not too bad. Spooky. I loved that movie too. Especially the music to it, but I can't find the soundtrack anywhere. Good stuff. Keep 'em coming.
