A recipe of Me

A recipe of Me

A Poem by S.W.

Mix with devil
Add a sprinkle of fun
A touch of evil
Reversed by the sun
Allowing to stand
Add a grain of golden sand
A passion fruit peeled
Then your kiss that's been sealed.
Set for an hour
Stir in a magenta coloured flower
Pick a star from the sky
As a topping for your eye.
Dished up with heat
Tasting Savoury and Sweet
Add magic from the sea
That's how you make me.

... jesus!!! ... it is only sometimes that one is so startled by sparkling talent ... that one smiles an unending mile-long smile ... which says ... may the universe of verse remain as sublime and as volatile and as razor sharp and as fragrant ... yet i shall dare to tell you my favourite lines ... though only after reiterating that this is a startling masterpiece ... and those exotic lines are ... "a touch of evil" ... "reversed by the sun" ... "then your kiss that's been sealed" ... and this entire eclectic third stanza ... and ... "add magic from the sea" ... i can tell you that i've never read anything like this ... i can tell you also that i never will ... and i can tell you that no one who reads this is ever going to forget it ... a 100 ... to thank you for writing this and then sharing it ... :) ...

A very creative way of explaining your personality. I find the concept of expressing your different features in the manner of ingredients in a recipie to connect exceptionally well.

This is a great poem to explain your personality. The flow is easy to follow and the description is wonderful

And bold enough to change the rhyming pattern between stanzas 1 & 2, and also to rhyme evil with devil. Good recipe.

I tell you what... I'm not a big fan of poetry... but I really like this. Everything flows nicely, it's sort of reminds me of a Vanessa Carlton or a Colbie Callait type lyric. There's a lot of great lines in here and I think it works really well.
Nice one!
Howie ;)
