![]() Gat VolA Poem by Lizza543![]() One of my short and sweet peices.![]() Once a year, African daisies Bloom in love and conquest Of those dried up plains She had admired so much. In rows, they sprout And open in a fanfare Swallowing any ugliness The soil had left in it. It is observed how closely They hug the dirt, Petals and vines intertwining As if sisters and brothers. Rising reds topple Abruptly towards the sky, The blues and purples Raging beside, To take center stage. © 2011 Lizza543 |
