State of Love and Emotional Devotion

My description of what real, undying love feels like.

Love burns through this heart anew,
As i surrender emotion to where its credit is due.
With you.
There’s an unknown sensation lying around where my brain used to be,
It’s that beautiful dream of me and you, of you and me.
Our children, our house, our whole life together.
The image floats on my soul as light as a dove’s feather.
An unnerving assurance finds its home in my daily life.
A rest stop of sorts.
A figment of supple imagination?
Or a firmly built estate of unearthly pure devotion, a fate of wonderful human creation.
I’ll yell it to the heavens, profess to the mountaintops.
My love, Our love.
My life, Our life.
Merging into a musically symphony
Of mesmerizing harmony.
