Unearthly Plead

Unearthly Plead

A Poem by Lizza543

Shadows of my shame come out of their hiding.
Realms of forsaken sadness by which begin confiding
In the opportunity of piercing quiet.
Banks of anger, creeping up on the side of my mind.

Define.
Unwanted emotions that spew from these walls.
Yelling, cursing, listening, taunting me.
What am I to you?

It’s complicated.
Imaginative sorrows are attacking me.
Haunting me.
I speak only with my words of  pure creation.

Please, forgive me for being mortal.
I  drank from the forbidden fruit of love and personal conquest.
Take it back.
I surrender to your unearthly power.

Release me of emotion.
Strip me of feeling, of self validation.
Make me numb whoever you are.
Do me that one favor.
