Fallen out friendships

Fallen out friendships

A Poem by LaylaK21
"

when love spins in a friendships, say goodbye to...not your lover, but your only friend.

"
You can walk out the door again, if you want,
I’m only holding on for my own unrealistic hopes
I can’t make you stay here, looking loveless and confused
I only wanted you for something new
You only needed me for skin pressing against one another
Go figure, like another shade of harmful shadows
You wicked dogs, you.
We’ve been calling each other up at random moments of time for years
I know it’s not the end, but go run off like some loser and some loser friends
I wanted you here, to keep safe from my own self
Your friend came to one day,
Laughing and smoking, driving and joking,
Such cuteness, such silly stupidity, only strung out on each other’s attention
But one day you took off with the roads of unknown
Maybe with ghosts
Or maybe your pretty emerald eyes darling, are going straight to hell
But I need them to look at mine,
You broke not a promise, but what’s in the inside
F**k off, f**k your crew, it’s just pretty little lovely but only wasted time.
