Can I be sure what I'm feeling is real?
Beaten heart all battered and torn,
Torn from the sleeve where it used to be worn

Will you keep it safe, if I give it to you?
Will you keep it with your heart, 'till its good as new?
Can you fix whats broken inside of my soul?
Can you hold me together 'till I become whole?
Do you promise me always with love and our dreams?
Do you promise to be there when I tear at the seams?
Will you always be honest, faithful and true?
Will you promise to love me, and let me love you?

Walking into a new day and trying to begin to seek a true love is a chance well worth taken. This poem also points out the importance of thinking and questioning. Should I love and give my heart?
