Painting the Lines

Painting the Lines

A Poem by Liz
"

For a friend.

"

A memory is formed by strokes of a paintbrush,

Its intricate details steadily paced.

Glistening strongly through the moonlight,

Tears are left drying upon the canvas.

The wrist of an artist contorts and twirls,

Revealing a smile beneath the night.

A new brush is chosen, as the previous dives

Deep into the water.

There area always those whose colors leave an undying change upon the canvas of our lives. I feel your words have painted that feeling very well.

Great Ink!
