I Am Not AfraidA Poem by LizCautious to make my every move, Paranoid about every voice, Constantly looking over shoulders, Attempting to be rid of my enemies, Violently tearing away at my composure, How is it you think that’s okay? To manipulate the minds of others, As if that is the only way, But who deserves the brutal treatment, When we’ve all screwed up so many times? And here I am in your darkness How many of your words have been lies? I’ll stare at you with my eyes wide open, I Am Not Afraid. © 2012 LizReviews
