Educational Chaos

Educational Chaos

A Poem by Liz

The bell sounds as a fire explodes,

Sparks Fly, Ignite, Destroy

Smooth terminals become deranged,

Plastics Melt, Liquefy, Dissolve

Adolescent voices louder and louder,

Octaves Skipping, Dancing, Shrieking

Administrators seeking to restore order,

Lines are Straight, Orderly, Composed

Running to the exits, arms flailing rapidly,

Doors Boarded, Locked, Enclosed

Panic sets in for all living creatures,

Water Bursts, Simplifies, Clears

This is very powerful. The title caught my eye and the poem was very good. Very descriptive.

I enjoyed reading this, the descriptive language in this piece is really good. The 2nd lines were especially provoking.
