A MemoryA Poem by LizI’ll tiptoe through my memories and maybe I will find a moment or a minute, a picture or a time, when night’s chilled wind was kind. Whose thundering howl plucked me from my comfort to carry me through it’s sky. Maybe as I wander I’ll float above the clouds, or maybe as I wander I’ll stumble to the ground. And I’ll reach the gates beneath the pavement with open arms as I leap into their welcome, my eyes reflecting in the flames. And if you see me asking for water drink it yourself. © 2014 Liz |
