Trying something new

Trying something different is always fun and exciting

However, not all towns or cities are friendly or inviting

My husband and I went to a new town to spend time together

I can tell you now we will never go back forever

I enjoyed getting away 

and going out to play

We missed our children while we were gone

But there were so many pros and cons

It's only been twice that we have left them at home

They didn't burn the house down so maybe we can roam

From time to time I think we need to be alone

But I will always enjoy coming home

They are all getting older and growing up so fast

But I'm not getting younger so I want it all to last

Spending time with my husband and making memories with my kids

Is what life is all about and there's nothing I can miss.
