{Your Muse}

{Your Muse}

A Poem by living lavender
"

"
do you hear that?

as the piano plays
each key being sought out
        WANTED
        NEEDED
in their own way
for a purpose
to become whole
                           in song...

- i wish to be chosen in the same manner.

' - i wish to be chosen in the same manner. '
the melody is calling me.

I love the soft and soothing sound of piano keys, as fingertips play.
Your thoughts take my breath away. I think I'll float for a while . .

This is beautiful in every way. : )

As a lover and player of piano music, I must say I love the image.

A reference to "My Muse" by Owl City, perhaps? I love that song, and often play it on the piano. Thank you for sharing!

beautifully said too. thank you for stopping by! :]
One hand or two, one finger or all fingers, in called *clanks* or tunes, a song can be played. But it's indeed amazing how it all comes together as a song that I too want to become a part of in itself. Wonderfully explained and expressed!

This really spoke to me, being a pianist, I could relate to this wholly. Something you might enjoy and what this piece reminds me of is the song by Sting, "I can't stop thinking about you". Check it out if you get a chance.
In the coming together of a song, the birth is announced through music and the people rejoice. Nicely done.

My pleasure. I will look forward to it.
Short but so sweet! Loved the imagery of the piano, and the idea that the muse is wanted and needed, where would we be without it.
