Fool's Hope

Fool's Hope

A Poem by LivingLament
"

"Navigate the abyss and if thou should plunder be sure to find thy feet once more"

"

As a mountain is lifted

So has clarity shifted

To the center of vision

Like that of a cold shivering incision

With a path to liberation clear

Resolve sprouts forward to meet will

Casting the die with a new thrill

Marching with a head up high

Approaching Dark Mountain once more

Timid and terrified no more

As the pinnacle seems nigh to the new found eye

But be it not the deception of fool's hope

Sending forth fierce wraith of a dream once lost

Or might it be; the hope in faith no matter the cost.
