The Perfect Imperfection

The Perfect Imperfection

A Poem by LivingDeath

Behind my smile
is a truth;
a story.
A story that none of you will ever understand.
Look past my smile
and I am broke.
My life is but a contradiction..
The perfect imperfection..
Look at me and I will smile,
make a joke and I will laugh,
but look a little closer
and you'll see a little more..
See the words that quote my life
scarred across my wrist,
Lies..
Hate..
Waste..
Love..
and more that I can't say..
See stitches attached to arteries
and bones that never healed,
judge me now; for all you do
I'm just another 'fake'.
So to all who judge a life unknown
just let me say one thing..
Go f**k yourself, you piss me off
you're f*****g immature,
you do not know a f*****g thing
you don't f*****g know at all.
You do not know recovery
from being hooked on every drug,
and you do not know the feeling
when you overcome it all..
But for you you'll never know that
you'll just see a scar or track,
we overcame a nightmare
just to put up with your crap.
Our mistakes may scar our bodies
but they cannot scar our heart,
if you judge us by our scars
then you miss the biggest part.
For we are our lives,
most perfect imperfection.

LivingDeath
Just venting about people who judge youth about their past. It seriously pisses me off. So I just had to write and this was the outcome. Not great but its the truth.

Omg. You know I can relate to you alot. I really don't know what to say to this though. I know what scars mean. I know and understand your pain more than most would. Nobody is perfect. Perfection is impossible. I'm always here to talk even though I haven't been on much and I'm sorry for that. I'll try to start getting on more again though.

Like I said before I know your pain and completley understand it.. I'll talk to you later.

No one can possibly know the mile another walked. I believe that under the right circumstances we are all cable of all sin including murder. The venom in this poem goes a long way to prove your point. Nicely written!

I couldn't agree with you more.. And I do believe in Karma and so for those who judge believe me they will receive someday what they have given..x

sometimes though those judgements can be justifyied by the present of youth. please do not condemn all judgers not all are bad, some give the benefit of the doubt and are rewarded by great people, amazing friends, while others constantly give a benefit that should not have been given. therefore sometimes although the judgements are harsh they are rightly placed.
just sayin.
