Seconds in Time

Seconds in Time

A Poem by LivingDeath

She loves me..
She loves me not..
These words repeat
Like the click of the clock.

One second yes
another is no,
what can I do
if her heart doesn't know.

One second shes happy
two shes upset,
three seconds she'll love me
and four I'm regret.

I really love this ! The use of rhythm and metronome really enhance the meaning and emotion behind the words. For me theres also a quietness and an uncertainty which engages my sympathy as a reader for the voice of the poem.
Really excellent :)

Very honest and true. It was cute, but very... powerful, beyond cute I could tell. I liked the wording of it. The rhyming scheme fit well. Nice piece of work you got here! :))

I really like this poem and can really relate to it. It's frustrating when someone says they love you but they aren't sure, or if they love you and the next second they don't. Well done.

I can really feel the emotion in this piece. Sad, beautiful, frustration....all of these emotions combined. Thanks for sharing.

I can really feel your sadness, frustration and possible regret with this.. and your so right it's simply better to write down and share rather then opt to hurt yourself.. I figure why hurt yourself...when the other person has done such a great job of doing that themselves.. Be strong..Be great.. just Be...xxx

it is hurting same time it is nice !!
i think a love like this should not be called as love because real love stays forever young :)
