Love Can't Bring You BackA Poem by LivingDeathA poem for my Grandfather.
Have you ever loved someone so much
that you would give everything you ever worked for in life to spend just one more day with them one more moment, to say those things you never got to say to give them one last hug to tell them how much they meant to you how much you loved them. To hear their voice that you hold so close in memory in heart with every living breath. A day to talk about the memories you've shared to ask them to sing just one last song, to ask them to say one last joke just to hear them laugh. I would give everything just to see him there standing in our driveway, helping me wash his van laughing as we talked into eachothers heart. My grandfather, my friend my heart I owe to him, Rest In Peace I love you true. I wish I could have just one more moment to hold you in my arms, to tell you you were the best Grandfather anybody could ever hope for what I would give to have that last hug.
