Broken WingsA Poem by LivingDeathI had a dream about my Grandpa
On these broken wings I'm falling
without you here I'm lost, I can chase the dark forever but our paths will never cross. I held your hand and watched you pass away that day, now I sit here by your grave side to say what I need to say. You always lived with passion never wasting a single day, you lived until the day you died your love can't fade away. No one could ever make you frown you loved each and every one, you never held a grudge to heart you were Gods perfect son. You helped me through the ropes of life as you did with all your friends, your sisters, your brothers, your friends to the end you loved them to the end. I had a dream about you Grandpa but I don't know what it means. I saw you here beside me but than fell to weary knees. I saw you at your funeral with a shovel in your hand, burying your own coffin please help me understand. On these broken wings I'm falling without you here I'm lost, I can chase the dark forever but our paths will never cross.
