Goodbye Black BirdA Poem by LivingDeathA metaphorical poem about anything. It can be about a mom or dad, sister or brother. A drug addiction, a friend, or life itself. Its up to you.
A black bird perched
on my window sill, looked me in the eye hello little bird. It sat there through the wind and rain, talked to me at nights goodnight little bird. Watching me through panes of glass it cries a plea to me, no more no more no more it screams I'm sorry little bird. I am not holding you here I say and wait for it to fly, but still it stays here anyhow thankyou little bird. But I woke one morning to find its left, a feather in the crack goodbye little bird.
