Momma's Gone

Momma's Gone

A Poem by LivingDeath
"

To my mom, I miss you.

"
Gone in the wind
a whisper in the dark,
a picture on my wall
a tear from my heart.

The words she wrote
linger in ink,
clinging to my heart
and making me think.

I miss her hug
I miss her voice,
I miss her love
I hate God's choice.

She was my mother
my life's companion,
I miss her now
and the relationship that had been.

Day in and day out
I sit and I cry,
wondering this
oh why God why?

Gone in the wind
a whisper in the dark,
a picture on my wall
a tear from my heart.

I miss my mom.

I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine how you feel! This poem is very touching and emotional. It is written very well, and it is a wonderful piece of writing.

My heart goes out to you and what you've been through...though God isn't the one to blame (not saying you do). Everything happens for a reason..fate has plans for us in which we won't understand until later.

Great piece I loved it

I could feel your pain in each word, each line and each stanza. It is probably the hardest thing that you will ever have to go through. I have no words at least any that are worthy enough. So I'm just going to say that this is a beautiful piece and you are very talented. Stay strong and keep writing.

I can literally feel the love pouring out of this piece. She would be very proud of you, sometimes God does things we have to question- and I love that part of this piece. Great job.
