Little Red Bicycles and Red Tambourines

Little Red Bicycles and Red Tambourines

A Poem by LivingDeath
"

Trying something different.. This is what happens when you live in the country for a while.

"
Little red bicycles
and red tambourines,
the sounds of her laughing
is all that truly means.

Cause it's always a good night
out in the country side,
on that little red bicycle
out for a star light ride.

Fireflies would dance
and crickets would sing,
the guitar would play
that old harmonic hymn.

There are no signs to slow us down
no lights to block the stars,
we're out here to live this very night
not trapped inside life's bars.

The country is our home
where the night time likes to sing,
where our heart can soar above
above all other things.

Little red bicycles
and red tambourines,
the sound of her laughing
is all that truly means.

The simple needs and sounds make a life complete. I like the story in your words. Nothing better then a day in the country with a lot of time. A beautiful poem. Thank you.

I really love this write. It's very innocent and it brings me back to those good old childhood memories. The rhyme scheme was good as well. Very nice. :)

I really enjoyed this.... I love to write about memories of playing when I was little (so long ago that the Beatles were still together)... love the descriptions and the feeling of playfulness comes through beautifully

Cool poem. The laughter of a child is the most beautiful sound in the world, isn't it?
