Forget

Forget

A Poem by LivingDeath

Drops of blood
replace my tears,
from all this s**t
from all these years.

For all I want
is to forget my past,
but as much as I try
it always lasts.

Forget the pain
of slitting wrists,
forget the mess
from bloody fists.

Forget the lows
from all the highs,
forget the shame
from blood shot eyes.

Forget the stress
since last December,
forget how I hate
with all I remember.

Excellent write. Emotional and bitter. You bring the reader into your writing.

Something are real hard to be put aside in a life. A powerful poem. The struggle and pain is felt in your words. It is difficult to open a new door when the hate and fear is keeping the door lock-up. A excellent poem.

Nice piece! The distress and pain comes out in a very graphic way, which adds to the appeal of the creation. Thanks for sharing.

the rhyming was simple yet nice. there were grammatical mistakes all over.. like..
"
Drops of blood
replace my tears,
OF all this s**t
FROM all thOse years."

just tweak it here and there and you're good to go!
I liked this.
keep writing :)
